Roasted Organic Broccoli

Side Dish


A gourmet vegetable side dish sure to elevate your next dinner! Full of flavor and nutrition, this recipe is sure to be a crowd pleaser!


  • 1 Bag (16 oz.) Path of Life Organic Broccoli Florets, frozen
  • 1 Lemon
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. Fresh Basil, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Toasted Pine Nuts (optional)
  • Kosher Salt and Black Pepper, to taste


Chef’s Tip: To toast pine nuts, preheat oven to 350⁰F.  Spread onto a baking sheet and bake 12-14 minutes or until golden brown, stirring halfway.

  1. Preheat oven to 375⁰F. Place broccoli into a large mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper; mix well and set aside.
  2. Zest lemon to measure 1 tsp. Juice lemon to measure 3 tbsp. In a small mixing bowl, combine lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, parmesan and basil. Whisk in olive oil.
  3. Pour lemon mixture over broccoli and mix well. Spread broccoli onto a rimmed baking sheet and bake 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway.
  4. Transfer broccoli to a serving platter and sprinkle with pine nuts, if desired.
