Description

This hearty and effortless soup is perfect for a cold winter night! Prepared with our Superfood Pilaf!

Ingredients

  • 2 bags (10 oz) Path of Life Superfood Pilaf
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth or Chicken Stock
  • 1 can (15-16 oz) Tomato Sauce
  • 1 can (15-16 oz) Cannellini Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 of each Rosemary Sprigs, Thyme Sprigs and Bay Leaves
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Chopped Fresh Basil and Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)

Get creative with this recipe! Add pasta, other types of beans or legumes and herbs, if desired!

  1. Place rosemary, thyme and bay leaves in a 4-in. square of cheesecloth and tie with kitchen twine. Combine chicken broth, tomato sauce and herb bundle into a medium saucepot. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, reduce to low and cook 10-15 minutes.
  2. Add Superfood Pilaf , return to a simmer and cook an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with basil and parmesan, if desired.
